The Opportunity:

Clearview Co-op is hiring a Part Time Meat Cutter to serve our members and customers at our Food Store located in Ste. Anne, Manitoba.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Meat Cutter preferred, but willing to train the right candidate!
  • Ability to work in cold temperatures
  • Must be available and flexible to work evenings and weekends
  • Reliable transportation for potential off-site training

What You Would Do:

As part of our team, you’ll represent our brand “You’re at Home Here”, by delivering friendly, positive, and professional experience to all customers, visitors, suppliers, and team members.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Live out our values of: People, Integrity, Excellence, and Responsibility.
  • Respond to customer needs and service satisfaction levels and ensure customer issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Cut, package, wrap, display, and price meat products.
  • Order, receipt, inspection, storage, and preparation of meats and/or fish and seafood and supplies.
  • Fill and rotate frozen and processed stock following FIFO procedures as well as filling in all necessary charts and logs.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure all areas of responsibility are safe, organized, and clean, including sharpening equipment and monitoring refrigeration temperature within all food safety standards and guidelines.
  • May provide operational oversight in absence of our Full-Time Meat Cutter.
  • Frequently move items up to 55 lbs. at the site for various needs.
